The High Court of Chhattisgarh has released a notification for the recruitment of 29 Stenographer Posts. The online application process has started from 25th May 2023 and will end on 20th June 2023.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must be a citizen of India.
- Candidates must have completed the age of 21 years and not more than 30 years as on 01st January 2023.
- Candidates must have passed the 12th standard from a recognized board.
- Candidates must have passed the Stenographer’s (Grade III) examination conducted by the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission in the year 2023.
Selection Process
The selection process for the Stenographer Posts will be conducted in two stages:
- Written Test
- Skill Test
Written Test
The Written Test will be a objective type examination of 100 questions, each carrying 1 mark. The duration of the examination will be 2 hours. The question paper will be in English and Hindi languages.
Skill Test
The Skill Test will be a practical test of the candidate’s shorthand and typing speed. The candidate will have to type 80 words per minute in English and 30 words per minute in Hindi.
Pay Scale
The pay scale for the Stenographer Posts is as follows:
- Basic Pay: Rs. 15,600/-
- Dearness Allowance: 60% of Basic Pay
- House Rent Allowance: 25% of Basic Pay
- Transport Allowance: 10% of Basic Pay
- Medical Allowance: Rs. 5,000/- per annum
