The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has invited applications for the post of Specialist Medical Officer (SMO). There are a total of 18 vacancies available. The last date to apply is July 10, 2023.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the post of SMO, the candidate must:
- Be a citizen of India.
- Possess a postgraduate medical degree in the relevant specialty from a recognized university/institute.
- Be registered with the Medical Council of India (MCI).
- Have a valid experience certificate of at least two years in the relevant field.
- Be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of the post.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for the post of SMO is 70 years as on the last date of application.
Salary
The starting salary of an SMO in CRPF is Rs. 85,000/- per month.

The selection of candidates for the post of SMO will be done on the basis of a walk-in interview. The interview will be conducted on July 10, 2023 at various CRPF hospitals across India.
