The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has invited online applications for 150 Apprentice posts. The vacancies are available for Graduate Apprentice, Diploma Apprentice and Trade Apprentice. The last date to apply for the posts is 20 June 2023.
The following are the eligibility criteria for the Apprentice posts:
Graduate Apprentice:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university.
- Age limit: 18-24 years for General/OBC candidates and 18-28 years for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
Diploma Apprentice:
- A Diploma in Engineering or Technology from a recognized polytechnic.
- Age limit: 18-22 years for General/OBC candidates and 18-26 years for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
Trade Apprentice:
- ITI passed in relevant trade.
- Age limit: 18-20 years for General/OBC candidates and 18-24 years for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
The selected candidates will be paid a stipend of Rs. 9,000/- per month for Graduate Apprentice, Rs. 8,000/- per month for Diploma Apprentice and Rs. 6,000/- per month for Trade Apprentice.

- Click on the “Recruitment” tab.
- Click on the “Apprentice” link.
- Click on the “Apply Online” button.
- Fill in the online application form with all the relevant details.
- Upload all the required documents in the prescribed format.
- Pay the application fees.
- Submit the application.
The application fee for the Apprentice posts is Rs. 100/- for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
The last date to apply for the Apprentice posts is 20 June 2023.
The selection for the Apprentice posts will be based on a written test and an interview. The written test will be of objective type and will be conducted in English. The interview will be conducted in English or Hindi.
