Eastern Coalfields Limited 2025 ITI Apprentices Recruitment (Vacancy Circular No: ECL/HRD/DIS/2025/532)

Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL) has announced a new notification for the recruitment of ITI Apprentices. A total of 280 vacancies are available under this engagement. Candidates are advised to carefully read the notification and check the details such as eligibility criteria, educational qualifications, age limit, experience requirements, and other conditions before applying. The last date to submit the application form is 26th September 2025.

Shortlisted candidates will be appointed in West Bengal after completing the selection process.

Vacancy Details

The recruitment has been announced for ITI Apprentices under different trades. The positions are based in Dishergarh, Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal – 713333. These are full-time apprentice roles. The trade-wise distribution of vacancies is as follows:

  • Fitter – 120 Posts

  • Electrician – 120 Posts

  • COPA (Computer Operator and Programming Assistant) – 20 Posts

  • Welder – 20 Posts

In total, there are 280 vacancies for apprentices.


Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for these posts must possess an ITI Certificate in the relevant trade. The certificate should be recognized and the candidate must be registered on the NAPS (National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme) portal under the concerned trade. A minimum of 40% marks in ITI is required to be eligible.

The maximum age limit is 45 years as on the closing date of application. Relaxations in age for reserved categories will be applicable as per government rules.


Stipend

Selected apprentices will be entitled to a monthly stipend in the range of Rs. 7,000 to Rs. 7,700 depending on the trade and apprenticeship rules.


Selection Process

The selection procedure will be based on the eligibility and merit of the candidates. More details about the selection method and any application fee (if applicable) are mentioned in the official notification. Candidates are advised to go through the guidelines carefully before applying.

Candidates should apply in the prescribed application format. The application form must be duly filled and attached with all required documents such as educational certificates, age proof, caste certificate (if applicable), and other supporting papers.
