Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree in Demography / Population Studies or allied disciplines such as:

  • Economics

  • Statistics

  • Mathematics

  • Sociology

  • Psychology

  • Anthropology

  • Geography

Candidates should be recognized scholars with a minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.

Experience Requirements

  • A minimum research score of 120 as per UGC Regulations dated 18 July 2018 (Appendix II, Table 2).

  • Teaching and research experience must meet UGC norms and GIPE requirements, as specified in the official notification.

Desirable Qualifications

Salary and Benefits
