Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized university.
- Age Limit: 35 years for General category candidates, 40 years for OBC candidates, and 45 years for SC/ST candidates.
- Experience: For candidates with Masters Degree in relevant subject, no experience is required. For candidates with Bachelor’s Degree, 2 years of teaching experience in relevant subject is required.
Salary
- Pay Scale: Level-10 of the Pay Matrix (revised), which is equivalent to ₹52,000 – ₹1,52,000/- per month.
Application Fees
- General category candidates of Himachal Pradesh and candidates of other states (including reserved categories): ₹400/-
- Reserved category candidates of Himachal Pradesh: ₹200/-
Age Limit
- General category candidates: 35 years
- OBC candidates: 40 years
- SC/ST candidates: 45 years
Selection Process
The selection process will consist of a written examination followed by an interview. The written examination will be of 2 hours duration and will carry a maximum of 100 marks. The interview will carry a maximum of 50 marks.
