The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has invited applications for the recruitment of 4476 Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs) in the Haryana Education Department Rest of Haryana (ROH) Cadre and Mewat Cadre. The online application process started on June 28, 2023, and will close on July 18, 2023. The eligible candidates can apply through the official website of HPSC. Qualification Criteria:

  • The candidates must have a Master’s degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university.
  • They must also have a minimum of 55% marks in the Master’s degree.
  • The candidates must have a valid teaching certificate.

Experience:

  • No experience is required.

Pay Scale:

  • The initial pay scale for PGTs in Haryana is Rs. 47,600/- to Rs. 151,100/- per month.

Age Limit:

  • The upper age limit for PGT recruitment is 42 years.
  • There is a relaxation of age for the reserved categories as per the government rules.

Application Process:

  • The application process is online. The candidates can apply through the official website of HPSC.
  • The application fee for male candidates of the General category is Rs. 1000/- and for all female candidates is Rs. 250/-.
  • The application fee for male candidates of SC/ST is Rs. 250/- and there is no application fee for Disabilities category candidates who are bonafide residents of Haryana only.

Selection Process:

  • The selection process will be based on a written exam, followed by an interview.
  • The written exam will be conducted in two parts:
    • Part I will be a common exam for all subjects.
    • Part II will be a subject-specific exam.
  • The interview will be conducted to assess the candidates’ teaching skills and aptitude.
