The Institute of Plasma Research (IPR) is an Aided Institute of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. It is engaged in research and development in the areas of basic plasma physics, magnetic confinement fusion, and industrial and societal applications of plasmas. IPR is located in Bhat, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
IPR is inviting applications for the post of Technical Officer – C (22 posts) on a direct recruitment basis. The selected candidates will be responsible for working on research and development projects in the field of plasma technology.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in one of the following disciplines: Civil, Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical. They must also have a minimum of 60% marks in their Bachelor’s degree.
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized University/Board of Technical Education of Central or State Government.
The selected candidates will be paid a salary as per Level 10 of the Pay Matrix and Initial basic pay of Rs. 56,100/-.
The application fee is Rs. 200/- for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
The age limit for the post is 30 years. Age relaxations shall be admissible as per Central Government orders on the subject as amended from time to time.
The selection process will consist of a written test and an interview.
