Japan to provide USD 2.6 bn loan for power and metro project in Bangladesh: Bangladesh signed an exchange of note and loan agreement with Japan worth USD 2.66 billion for two development projects in the country on Monday.

More than 8.4 crore unorganized workers registered on e-Shram portal till now: The number of Unorganised Sector workers registration at the e-Shram portal has been rising steadily over the 12 weeks since its launch (as can be seen from the Figure below). As on 20th November 2021, which is more than 12 weeks since registration started, around 8,43,89,193 total number of unorganized workers have registered at the e-Shram portal, with an increase of 13,10,758 total workers registered the previous day.

DMRC launches first prototype of indigenously-developed universal driving: As a major step towards indigenizing the technologies involved in operating the Metro, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) in association with Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) launched the first prototype of an indigenous Rolling Stock Driver Training System (RSDTS) and also demonstrated the functioning of a Super – Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system, which is being developed as a monitoring system for equipment and assets to rationalize maintenance periodicity, manpower requirement and spares management.
