Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have a Master’s degree in the relevant subject from a recognized University/Board of University Grants Commission (UGC) of Central or State Government. They must also have a PhD in the relevant subject from a recognized University/Board of UGC of Central or State Government.
Education Qualification
- For Assistant Professor: Master’s degree in the relevant subject from a recognized University/Board of University Grants Commission (UGC) of Central or State Government. PhD in the relevant subject from a recognized University/Board of UGC of Central or State Government.
- For Associate Professor: Master’s degree in the relevant subject from a recognized University/Board of University Grants Commission (UGC) of Central or State Government. PhD in the relevant subject from a recognized University/Board of UGC of Central or State Government. At least 5 years of teaching experience in a recognized University/College/Institution.
- For Professor: Master’s degree in the relevant subject from a recognized University/Board of University Grants Commission (UGC) of Central or State Government. PhD in the relevant subject from a recognized University/Board of UGC of Central or State Government. At least 10 years of teaching experience in a recognized University/College/Institution.
Salary
The selected candidates will be paid a salary as per 7th Pay Commission.
- For Assistant Professor: Rs. 50,000/- to Rs. 80,000/- per month
- For Associate Professor: Rs. 75,000/- to Rs. 1,25,000/- per month
- For Professor: Rs. 1,25,000/- to Rs. 2,00,000/- per month
Application Fees
The application fee is as follows:
- General/OBC/EWS Category: Rs.750.00
- ST/SC/PwD/ESM/Women category: Rs.100.00
Age Limit
The age limit for the post is as follows:
- For Assistant Professor: 35 years
- For Associate Professor: 45 years
- For Professor: 50 years
Selection Process
The selection process will consist of a short-listing based on the candidates’ academic record and research experience, followed by a written test and interview.
