Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the IT Specialist position, you must have the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognized university
  • At least 3 years of experience in IT development and implementation
  • Experience in the following technologies: Java, .NET, Python, SQL, Oracle, and Linux
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education Qualification

The educational qualification for the IT Specialist position is a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognized university.


The selected candidates will be placed in Pay Level 9 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) with a starting basic pay of Rs. 54,100/- per month. They will also be entitled to various allowances and benefits as per SIDBI’s rules.

Application Fees

The application fee for the IT Specialist position is Rs. 1100/- for General/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates and Rs. 175/- for SC/ST/PWBD candidates.

Age Limit

The age limit for the IT Specialist position is 30 years as on 01.01.2023. Relaxation in age limit is available for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen candidates (5 years), OBC (Non-creamy layer) candidates (3 years), PwBD (Unreserved / EWS) (10 years), PwBD (OBC candidates) (13 years), and PwBD (SC/ST candidates) (15 years).

Selection Process

The selection process for the IT Specialist position will consist of a three-stage process:

  • Stage 1: Online Computer Based Test (CBT)
  • Stage 2: Technical Interview
  • Stage 3: Medical Examination
