Salary
The salary for Engineer Trainees is Rs. 40,000/- per month during the training period. On successful completion of the training, the Engineer Trainees will be absorbed as Engineers in E2 scale – Rs. 50,000/- – 3%- 1,60,000/- (IDA).

The application fee for all categories is Rs. 1000/-.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for Engineer Trainees is 25 years as on the date of application. There is a relaxation in the upper age limit for reserved categories.
Selection Process
The selection process for Engineer Trainees will be as follows:
- GATE Score: The candidates will be shortlisted based on their GATE score.
- Written Exam: The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for a written exam.
- Interview: The candidates who qualify for the written exam will be called for an interview.
