The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has invited online applications for the recruitment of 245 Civil Judge (Junior Division) posts. The last date to apply for the posts is June 30, 2023.
The following are the eligibility criteria for the Civil Judge (Junior Division) posts:
- Age: 21-32 years for General/OBC candidates and 21-35 years for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized university.
- Enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu.
- Physically fit.
The selected candidates will be paid a salary of Rs. 27,700-770-33,090 – 920 – 40450-1080-44770.
The selection for the Civil Judge (Junior Division) posts will be based on a written test and an interview. The written test will be of objective type and will be conducted in English. The interview will be conducted in English or Tamil.

- Click on the “Recruitment” tab.
- Click on the “Civil Judge (Junior Division)” link.
- Click on the “Apply Online” button.
- Fill in the online application form with all the relevant details.
- Upload all the required documents in the prescribed format.
- Pay the application fees.
- Submit the application.
The application fee for the Civil Judge (Junior Division) posts is:
- Rs. 150/- for General/OBC candidates
- Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PwBD candidates
The following documents are required to be uploaded along with the application form:
- 10th/12th/Graduation mark sheet
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- PWD certificate (if applicable)
- Aadhar card
- Passport size photograph
- Bar Council enrollment certificate
