A notification for the recruitment of 645 Group C positions in the Agriculture/Horticulture/Animal Husbandry Department has been made public by the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC). From October 7 until October 27, 2023, the online application process is accessible.
Eligibility Conditions
- Candidates must be residents of Uttarakhand and be citizens of India.
- Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent degree, in agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, or veterinary science from an accredited university.
- As of the closing date for applications, candidates must be between the ages of 21 and 40. For reserved categories, there is an upper age relaxation limit.
Selection Method
Written tests and interviews will both be part of the selection process. The following papers will be included in the objective written examination:
- General knowledge and current affairs in Paper 1
- Agriculture, horticulture, and animal husbandry Paper 2
- Intelligence and Mental Capacity
Interview calls will be made for those who pass the written test. The candidates’ performance in the written test and the interview will be taken into account when making the final decision.

Candidates must go to the Commission’s official website at ukpsc.net.in and click the “Apply Online” option in order to submit an application for the UKPSC Group C Recruitment 2023. Prior to filling out the online application, candidates must first create an account. Candidates in the general category must pay a fee of Rs. 300, while those in the reserved category must pay a cost of Rs. 150.
