UP Police Recruitment 2026 – Computer Operator Grade A (1352 Posts)
The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released a notification for the recruitment of Computer Operator Grade A posts in UP Police. A total of 1352 permanent vacancies are available.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online up to 15 January 2026. Before applying, candidates should carefully check the eligibility conditions.
Selected candidates will handle computer-related and technical work such as data entry, system operation, and other support duties as assigned by the department.

Candidates must have any one of the following:

Important Notes on Eligibility
Candidates from other states can apply, but reservation benefits will be given only to UP domicile candidates.
If qualifications are equal, preference will be given to candidates who have:
Computer Hardware / Networking course from a recognized institute
Minimum 2 years service in Territorial Army
NCC ‘B’ Certificate

Computer Typing Test
Candidates who qualify the written exam will appear for a qualifying typing test.

This test is qualifying in nature.
Document Verification

Prepared only on the basis of written exam marks (normalized).
Category-wise merit list will be prepared as per reservation rules.
No waiting list will be issued.
