Vacancy Details & Educational Qualification
WCD J&K has announced a total of 18 vacancies, equally divided between two posts:
1. Anganwadi Worker – 9 Posts
- Qualification: 12th pass or Graduation
- Role: Involved in pre-school education, growth monitoring, and facilitating government schemes for children and mothers.
2. Anganwadi Helper – 9 Posts
- Qualification: Minimum 10th pass
- Role: Assist the Anganwadi Worker in daily operations, child care, nutritional support, and outreach activities.
Age Limit
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 37 years
- Cut-off Date: Age will be calculated as on 01 January 2025.
- Age relaxation rules apply as per government norms for reserved categories.
Application Fee
- No Application Fee is required to apply for either post.
Selection Procedure
- Shortlisting: Based on merit in educational qualifications.
- Final Selection: Through a personal interview conducted by the department.
