Bangladesh: Highest number of COVID 19 infection reported since July 2020: Bangladesh reported a spike in COVID 19 cases on the second consecutive day with 3567 new cases detected on Wednesday. This is the second highest single day infection since July 2 last year when 4019 new cases of COVID 19 were reported in the country. Bangladesh reported 25 deaths also in the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 8763.

NHAI to develop over 600 wayside amenities along National Highways: In a major move to improve commuters’ experience on National Highways for both, passengers and truckers, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) will develop world class ‘Wayside Amenities’ at more than 600 locations across 22 states along the National Highways in the next five years.

CISF personnel detect high volume of foreign currency worth INR 1.03 crore at RGI Airport, Hyderabad: On 24.03.2021 at about 0800 hrs, on the basis of behaviour detection, Head Constable Jitender Kumar of CISF surveillance team noticed suspicious activities of a passenger while entering into the terminal building of Hyderabad Airport. On suspicion, the said passenger was diverted to random X-BIS machine point, for thorough checking of his luggage.
