Eligibility Criteria
- Age: 18-50 years
- Education: Passed Class 10 or equivalent
- Domicile: Resident of Puducherry Union Territory
- Physical Standards:
- Male: Height – 165 cms, Chest – 81-86 cms (with minimum expansion of 5 cms), Weight – 45 kgs
- Female: Height – 157 cms, Chest – 76-81 cms (with minimum expansion of 5 cms), Weight – 40 kgs

Salary
Home Guards are paid a monthly honorarium of Rs. 10,000. They are also eligible for other allowances, such as uniform allowance, risk allowance, and travel allowance.

Selection Process
