The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is recruiting 1558 Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar candidates for the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) and the Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN). The application process is now open and will close on July 21, 2023. Candidates must have a Class 10 or equivalent qualification to apply. The salary for Multi-Tasking Staff is Rs. 18,000 per month and for Havaldar is Rs. 21,700 per month. The selection process will consist of a computer-based test (CBT), physical efficiency test (PET), and document verification.

Eligibility
- For Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff:
- Must have passed 10th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized board
- Age limit: 18 to 27 years as of January 1, 2023
- For Havaldar:
- Must have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized board
- Age limit: 18 to 27 years as of January 1, 2023
- Must have passed a typing test in English at 35 wpm
Age limit
- The maximum age limit is 27 years as of January 1, 2023.
- There is a relaxation of five years for SC/ST candidates and three years for OBC candidates.
Salary
- The starting salary for Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff is Rs. 18,000 per month.
- The starting salary for Havaldar is Rs. 21,700 per month.
